The chance to make your own piece, and use it authentically? We held a paper sumo competition in a sumo ring. Regardless of age, everyone has a chance to win in a paper sumo battle. Actually, there was a case where three older boys lost in a match to a three year old.

[First Rakugo performance – Hirabayashi]
The first performance today was Master Tamanosuke Gomeiro’s “Hirabayashi“ Rakugo with pictures. Can young children understand that kanji compounds can be read in various ways? Rather than focusing on this, the children can listen to the way the performers talk and their body language and they will laugh.

[Iromono – Edo Daikagura]
Senshiro Kagami has a range of techniques that are super effective! He performs without nervousness and with such ease that it’s almost easy to forget the high quality of his skills. The hall was filled with voices exclaiming “Ooooh” and “Wooooow”!
