[Pre-performance Event : Mini Fair.]
The “Mini Stage” experience was added from November last year. A memorial photo could be taken on the mini stage while wearing a Rakugo performer like Haori. The children were able to write directly on the Mekuri board Shodo paper.

[The Birth of the Lion performance.]
The New Year can’t go by without the performance of “The Birth of the Lion”. After the show the Lion comes down into the audience to give good luck bites on the head. Since many families are now regular viewers, they know what is coming and position themselves to be bitten. It’s great to see.

[1/30 First Rakugo performance – Kohome]
The top batter who has performed in two consecutive shows was Itchō Shunpūtei with the story “Praising the child”. The children’s hearts were firmly captured by his reactions, big voice and emotional smile.

[1/30 Iromono – Kamikiri]
Master Shouraku‘s high level techniques are so impressive that no matter how many times you see them you will say “Wow!” He is a representative of Japan with his level of cutting speed and quality.

[1/30 Second performance – Manzai]
Masters Yoh and Sho Miyata’s first Manzai performance at Kodomoyose on the 30th has been completed. The children found it really funny. The elementary school kids could not contain their laughter for 20 minutes.

[1/31 First performance – Koudan]
If you think of Matsunojo Kanda you may think of the young Kodan master who was in his best form and became extremely popular last year. The way he cleans up the image of Rakugo being difficult to understand with his talking skills is very charming.

[1/31 Iromono – Meoto Mandan]
Meoto Gakudan Jikijiki are Kaoruko, who has splendid vocals, and Kiyoshi, who is a highly skilled musician and is excellent at warming up the crowd. They performed on the mini stage, making a show that was full of laughs. Both adults and children alike really got into it.

[1/31 Second performance – Rakugo]
Harenosuke carefully selects the program for each performance, thinking of the age of the children and their position on Rakugo. He starts with a talk about his experience raising children, which really captures the hearts of the mothers.
